Out Working for Beef
Economic Service Quality Mark Beef Council Out Working for Beef

I have been honoured to represent Meat New Zealand at two important events in the last three years.  The first one was for the launch of the new Beef Campaign at the Hofex trade fair in Hong Kong.  The is a show dedicated to hotel and restaurant owners and chefs.  New Zealand hosts what is known as the Chef's corner.

The Beef Story was well received and gained wide media publicity around Asia following this event.

The second event was the Five Nations Beef Conference held in conjunction with Beef 2000 in Rockhampton, Australia.  I was privileged to lead the New Zealand delegation which included Peter Packard - Chairman of the Meat NZ Beef Council and Liz Francis - Meat NZ Global Beef Manager.

After Five Nations and at the opening event  of Beef 2000 I gave a paper on the NZ industry's experience with boxed beef.  This covered the Beef Story and had Australian farmers wondering why their industry did not have that sort of product positioning.  Coverage was printed in the Victorian NZ Farmer magazine equivalent.
